Arrow My honeymoon disaster story!!!!

N
ot to freak anybody out, but I thought it might make an interesting thread. Our disaster happened after spending the night in San Antonio. My wedding party put together a beautiful picnic of sorts for the night of our wedding. We had all kinds of goodies packed up for us since we were too busy to eat at the reception. Included was a bottle of champagne. I opened the bottle promptly after leaving and had a glass or two on the way to the hotel and recorked the bottle. We left the bottle in the car and took the food into the hotel with us. The next morning we were headed out to the airport and mind you this is in July in central Texas. It's hotter than hell as most folks know and I should have known. Anyway, my lovely hubby says he wants to stop and get a softdrink. He pulls in the the store and I wait in the car. All of a sudden-------- POW!!!! and I am saturated in hot champagne and the interior of my hubby's new car is drenched. Shorted out his stereo. I guess it could have been worse. That would have scared the crap out of my husband had he been driving at the time, or I could have gotten hit in the eye by the cork. Anyyway, we were reliving this story the other day. We laugh about it now, but it sure put a damper on things. My hair was such a sight!!!!!!!
