Default I have recently lost a lot of weight and my platinum wedding band no longer fits. Best resizing option? ?

The band is a simple platinum knife edge.

Just make certain you ask around and go to a reputable jeweler. I have had my band re-sized 2X due to weight gain and loss, and my ring still looks very good.

If it is just a 1/4 size too small they may ne able to compress it slightly to make it fit better. Any more than that and the jewelry will cut the band, take out a bit of the metal and then fuse it back. This is usually seamless and unnoticeable

I just had to do this also--they had to size it 1 full size down. For just 1 band, my jeweler charged $25.00. Polished it up and it looked beautiful when I got it back. Go to a good local jeweler.

i got mine from kays and they resized it for free. check with where you purchased it. if they don't do it for free or a discount, just go somewhere local. it's usually not more than $50.
