Default What's a good choice of flower to go with Red Roses for a wedding in June?

What's a good choice of flower to go with Red Roses for a wedding in June? We want something affordable and elegant. The colors are red, white and black. The bride wants a cascade bouquet.
Any help would be great!

carnations and mums are among the least expensive and you can have a full lush bouquet as their heads are quite large! add a few thin red ribbons and black ribbons trailing and you'll have a stunning bouquet.
google image search
roses and carnations cascading bouquets
you'll get lots of pics and ideas.
good luck and happy wedding!

lol... I'm a 26 year old guy, but I will answer this question.

My mom was in the hospital from April - July of last year. It was a really hard time for us, with all the sitting and me going back and forth the hour drive between the hospital and my full time job.

Gas was also around $4.00/gal at this time... so I was really short on cash. So, when I wanted to take my mother something when I went to visit... I got a little creative.

Some of my grandmother's plants still grow in our yard, she passed away last March.... She loved Azaleas and roses. So, since we had the red rose bushes growing in our yard and the White Azalea bushes ... both blooming at that time of the year.. April, June... I would always get a small jar or vase or anything and take my mother a few Red Roses surrounded by White Azaleas. She always loved them and they really are pretty together. I still have a couple of pictures of them in combination if you'd like to see.

However, I don't know anything about the cost of these two flowers... I always made sure to keep the bushes pruned and the flowers coming over the summer... so I had a constant supply.

Hope I've helped you in some way.

Congrats on the wedding.

Calallilies! They are gorgeous on their own and would look beautiful with red roses.
