I would add some bright red accessories such as a big silk scarf. Then the black doesn't look so dreary.

Add other accessories such as purse and jewelry that are red too and it will look great!!! But if you are wearing those colors to make a statement that you are against the wedding don't wear it.

you could if you wear red accessories...or a red jacket...my friend wore a black dress, red heels , and black jacket and red jewelry to her fiance's aunt's wedding (her fiancee is my best friends brother) and she looked fierce!

IMAO i think u could wear them if u also wear red lipstick or have a red purse or red&black purse to match the shoes better

dousnt sound very good :(

you should where maybe a pink, whight, or any light colored dress
with a cute pair of heels

A little black dress is the classiest thing you can have, and red shoes, yes, you can wear them with the dress to the wedding. I think it would be great if the shoes were heels.
