Default Help with double wedding...?

My friend and I are getting married to our childhood sweethearts. Our parents know all about it, and we decided to have a double wedding, we've known eachother our whole lives, and want to get married at the same ceremony. Here is the problem:
My friend and her fiance are Jewish, and me and my fiance are Catholics.
We want to have the ceremonies in just one place on one day. Any ideas how we can have both traditions put together, so its not a whole mess?

find a minister and a rabbi who are willing to do the ceremony together and have a meeting with them to coordinate so that everything is happening at the same time in the same ceremony, just taking turns,

Same venue...different officiates.....have the officiates put their heads together and come up with something...I'm sure both the priest & rabbi can....

Remember tho, the senior bride comes down the aisle first, and her vows are usually spoken first so whichever one of you is older....that is the senior bride.....good luck.

internet and a webcam?! i doubt highly a rabbi will do a service in a Catholic church and a Catholic priest won't preform a wedding outside the church. BTW, it is not about "traditions" it's about faith. one group believes in Jesus CHrist as the MEssiah and the other is still waiting for their MEssiah. that's not tradition.

I would say that before you get too excited about this idea and book anything, go talk to your officiants. Perhaps they'd be willing to do it, but because the two faiths are so different, it might not be possible. Also, i know that most catholic priests will only marry you in a catholic church, so you'd have to get the rabbi to come to your church most likely.
