Default Is a Sunday morning wedding acceptable even if the ceremony won't be religious?

I'm getting married next June and my FH is a tire tech which means all of his friends he works with would not be able to attend the wedding if it was on Saturday. But, is a Sunday wedding acceptable?

Sounds good to me. I don't see why not.

I personally would not care, but some churchgoers might consider it offensive that you expect them to ditch their time with the Lord to come to your wedding, especially if they're particularly religious. If you have religious family members or friends, you may want to ask their opinion, as they might feel more comfortable if you have an afternoon wedding instead. But don't worry TOO much about not offending others- You gotta do what you gotta do, and you can't please everybody!

Any day is "acceptable" - it's your wedding! I would suggest talking to the people who matter most (your parents, bridal party, etc) to see if they have any major objections to a Sunday morning wedding. If you just explain that this is the best time for you, they should understand and do what they can to attend.

That's fine. Religion or lackthereof has nothing to do with the date you choose.

Why not a Sunday afternoon wedding (around 2 or 3pm)? I wouldn't have a morning one, in case your guests attend church services in the morning.

Best wishes to you both!

It's more acceptable in a nonreligious context than it would be to churchgoers. As was said, moving it to a time when people who can attend church are able to go might be appreciated, if anyone you invite might be inclined to attend church services.

I had a Sunday wedding, remember Sunday is only the sabbath for Christians.

If your friends and family are religious, even though your ceremony won't be schedule it for after 1 pm so they can attend church if they desire

I guess marrying in Sunday is not that bad at all, or there bad about it. Well, I am sure the church organizer will, schedule your wedding hour that will not collide in daily Sunday mass. Good luck to you and best wishes for both of you.
