"Endless Love" by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross is a great, classic wedding song. It's beautiful.

for memorys you could get a picture of you and your groom and have every one sign the border as they walk in

or an engraved plate or glass

for songs to dance to do some hip hop but a slow and romantic song every few songs

for honeymoon jamaica, italy, africa, or germany

The photographer usually only stays for the first bit of the reception, and charges huge $$$$ to stay longer. I went to our local community college and advertised for a photography student. I gave her $250 to show up after the dinner, to catch all the candid dancing and fun that happened. Turned out to be some of the best pictures of the day!!! This way, you have pics of all your guests, not just your wedding party and family. I told the student to burn all pics on a CD for me, and that she could use any pics she liked in her portfolio. It was a great trade off for both of us!!!

as we do in new zealand.....(i don t know the origins but its been happening for a long time here....it might be classed as a wedding prank?)

mission.
the best man and mates organise secretly,.....
to nab and restrain the groom and parade him on a flatbed truck or car trailer...paraded tru town etc ( this could only be done the day before, or after wedding reception and just before taking of on honeymoon).

The groom in stocks can be left for 20 minutes or so placed in front of his and her work premises, town center, or outside inlaws home etc.... so workmates/freinds/ etc can have chance of flour an watering, and egging. (secured in wooden stocks),with signage stating getting married.for all to see. the prank ends at 6 pm.

im not to sure if tradition allows the bride to be informed prior to this or not?. but the best man and grooms mates do....oh! also inform the local police..otherwise they will wonder what is going on?...

and get together and make sure to have a beer after it.

We had a small wedding in Central Park, NYC then went to a restaurant for our reception. After the dinner I was giving out a the extra balloons to a couple kids and one on the mothers said her daughter kept looking at me all dinner, saying how beautiful I was. Then I heard the mother say " Come on Ashley, lets go back to the table." And I had a stop her and tell her that my name is Ashley, and was just as blonde as her as a child.

Everyone told me that I looked beautiful that day, but it was really something to me when that little girl said it, because I knew that she really ment it.
