If i were getting married in April, i would choose a different color than ive seen at other wedings. I would choose a salmon, or melon color, with ivory of course....itll be a fresh color, and it wont be too feminine for your fiance. It looks very elegant also, especially if you have silver accents in the invitation at the reception. Good Luck!
