my fiance and i are getting married by a waterfall in a rainforest just the 2 of us on a wednesday (less people, tourists etc) in September (Spring in Australia).

The big meaning behind the day is the 2 of you becoming 1. Being each others other half and being combined romantically and legally. It is the day when you become his wife and he becomes your husband and you publicly celebrate your love for one another.

The most special day of your life and you should spend it the way you both dream, and no one else.

We got married on a beautiful Saturday in June. The wedding day to me meant that I was going to go to a church and in front of GOD and my family and friends, promise to marry the man I loved and love him till I died.

We got married 8/8/08. My husband's not so great with remembering dates and he said he could remember one number.

Got married on a Friday night. Had to be at work on Monday morning. Got a honeymoon a couple months later.

We got married on a Saturday in March. There was no special meaning behind the day. We just did not want a Summer (too hot) or Fall (getting too popular) wedding.

Our wedding day will be the sixth of december 2009 which will be five days after our first date. It will be in a japanese garden because we spent a wonderful day in a similar garden within the first week when we had our first kiss. It is a very special day for us and just happens to be on a sunday. :)

we're getting married on 3/27 09. i would say there is no special meaning behind the date, although thats what we were going for but the date was booked. its on a friday and we're on a budget so it was cheaper compared to a saturday. and is in a month where a lot of venues give discounted prices since its not a prime wedding month/season.
