my fiance and i are getting married by a waterfall in a rainforest just the 2 of us on a wednesday (less people, tourists etc) in September (Spring in Australia).
The big meaning behind the day is the 2 of you becoming 1. Being each others other half and being combined romantically and legally. It is the day when you become his wife and he becomes your husband and you publicly celebrate your love for one another. Our wedding day will be the sixth of december 2009 which will be five days after our first date. It will be in a japanese garden because we spent a wonderful day in a similar garden within the first week when we had our first kiss. It is a very special day for us and just happens to be on a sunday. :)

we're getting married on 3/27 09. i would say there is no special meaning behind the date, although thats what we were going for but the date was booked. its on a friday and we're on a budget so it was cheaper compared to a saturday. and is in a month where a lot of venues give discounted prices since its not a prime wedding month/season.
