Default what songs are good for the father daughter dance at my wedding?

There is only one that I can think of that my dad has ever mentioned that reminds him of me when he hears it....but it isn't a good song to dance to ("Ram On" by Paul Mcartney). He is a guy who likes to have things to have a special meaning. So it can't really be just a random song....but that makes it so much harder! What songs have you had, or have heard at a wedding for a father/daughter dance? I really need suggestions!!!!

I like "Dance with My Father", but that only works if your father passed away. How about "Butterfly Kisses'?

I love when people ask this question:

What I had was My Girl-by the temptations

I loved her first-Heartland
Butterfly Kisses

I chose "I Hope You Dance" by Leanne Womack ... it's an amazing song.

You should ask your father if he has any suggestions for dance appropriate songs. Ram On doesn't have the easiest beat to dance to, but maybe you could look for some alternative versions. Perhaps he has performed it live or maybe a cover band has done the song in a slower version.
Here are a few other suggestions that you can look at. Perhaps you and your father will like some of the lyrics:
Isn’t She Lovely – Stevie Wonder
My Wish – Rascal Flatts
Unforgettable – Nat King Cole/Natalie Cole
Father’s Eyes – Amy Grant
She’s Leaving Home – The Beatles
Stealing Cinderella – Chuck Wick
I Loved Her First - Heartland
My Little Girl - Tim Mcgraw
Cinderella – Steven Curtis Chapman
Then They Do – Trace Adkins
Tiny Dancer - Elton John

Don't worry - you will find the perfect song!
Good luck!
