Spring-May-3rd through 16th
Summer-June-2nd through 4
Winter-February-Valentine's Day
They're all great! Never get married near your birthday, Christmas, or in fall. Why miss out on presents? Fall is just icky.

That depends on how you define best and where you want to get married.

I just finished graduate school to become a teacher. Because I will be working for most of this school year as a substitute teacher and hopefully have my own classroom next year, we chose a summer wedding. We're getting married July 11, 2009 our ceremony is set in tall trees (very shady) overlooking a lake. Summer has some great color options, anything bright or pastel works!

The biggest trend in recent years is fall weddings. The foliage is gorgeous especially in my area (CT) in October. The color palet is very rich with oranges and reds and browns.

Spring has it's upside as well. The weather is usually pleasant and not too warm like summer can be. Colors should be bright or pastel.

Winter is awesome because it's the cheapest time of year to get married. I had a friend who had her heart set on having her receptiopn at the most expensive place in town. She had her wedding right after Christmas and not only did she get a cheaper rate, but she also had very little decorating to do because everything was decorated in luscious red poinsettas. She went with red and green as her colors and it looked great!

It's all up to you. What time of year is your favorite? Where do you picture your perfect wedding?

I would say the spring. It's like the season of a new beginning. It's not too cold or hot. As far as the day, try searching on the web for the statistical day in the spring for the kind of weather that you would like. It doesn't mean that you'll get it, because no one, but God can predict the future. Nevertheless it doesn't hurt to consider the probability getting married on a day at includes Sunshine and warm weather.

There's an old poem about the month you marry in that goes like this:
Married when the year is new, he'll be loving, kind & true,
When February birds do mate, You wed nor dread your fate.
If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you'll know.
Marry in April when you can, Joy for Maiden & for Man.
Marry in the month of May, and you'll surely rue the day.
Marry when June roses grow, over land and sea you'll go.
Those who in July do wed, must labour for their daily bred.
Whoever wed in August be, many a change is sure to see
Marry in September's shrine, your living will be rich and fine.
If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry.
If you wed in bleak November, only joys will come, remember.
When December snows fall fast, marry and true love will last.

But of course, that's just an old superstition. You should get married whenever you and your fiance want.
