Jeans and a T-shirt are NEVER appropriate for a wedding. A wedding is a dignified event which means no matter what time of day it is being held or where the ceremony is being conducted you still owe the Bride and Groom some respect by wearing "nice clothes."

Do you have a nice pant suit or dress? Does your husband have a nice pair of slacks, a dress shirt, and sports jacket or a dark suit?

Does your toddler have a nice outfit? No sleepers or pajamas or warm-up suits.

When you wear something "nice" to a wedding you look better and your feel "dressed up," . . and that's the way it should be.

It's the kind of thing you could get away with wearing a nice shirt and pants... but if you wear a simple dress that isn't over the top that'd be fine too. I'd probably do a skirt & tights since it's in the winter :-)
