Default For married women- what time of day is best for wedding?

Could you tell me what hour you married (morning, noon, afternoon etc.) and what the pros and cons turned out to be? Is it better to have Saturday or Sunday wedding? Did anybody regret having a Christmas wedding?

I think it's best to have a Saturday wedding anywhere from 12-6

I would say afternoon to give you time to get ready and then you will have time for a long reception party afterward. Saturday would probably be better cause then people will have time to recover from drinking and on Sunday they usually have services at churches, so then you would have to schedule around that.

Our wedding was at 4:30 in the summer and the reception was at 6:00. This was great b/c no one was starving and everyone was ready for dinner!

It's great to have it in the afternoon. I got married on a Saturday at 2:30. This let me sleep in and wake up to my Dad making me a pancake breakfast. Then I still had time to get my nails and makeup done, and my bridesmaids were ready on time. Then it gives you time to take your pictures, and have plenty of time for a great reception, we started ours around 5 or 5:30. Also, most people can use the Sunday to travel back home and not have to use so much vacation time.
