Default Newlyweds, what do you wish you could have changed at the wedding?

And also spent more or less on than you did?

I wish we would have paid to have the DJ there till midnight. When we left at 10:00, the dj was only paid up till 10:30, and we heard later that guests were bummed out that the music was gone, and my dad feels that the reception might have carried on for a few more hours had the dj not left.
I guess that's a good thing: they must have been having a great time, to have been there so many hours and wanting to stay even longer!

I wish my mom could be there, but she couldn't make it because of several things.

I wouldn't really change anything about the wedding. I didn't spend too much and I didn't waste money on things that people won't remember anyways. We had good food and an awesome dj that stayed til 3 in the morning (it was an outdoor summer wedding at my parents house). He even provided karaoke as the night went on. I do wish that we had left for our honeymoon two days after the reception as opposed to the very next day, because we were EXHAUSTED!

I wish I would have made sure that the ENTIRE car was SPOTLESS!! I got black smudges of crap on my dress and had to get a shot pen on it! YIKES! Also, I wish I would have done more planning for the end of the night. I didnt put anyone in charge of cleaning up and getting all of my vases and crap put away. I couldnt get out the door so I got in a bad mood and ended up just storming out.....I was a total bridezilla for about 5 minutes. My damn sister left her purse at my house and she just HAD to come get it THAT night or she would just die, so I didnt get to have my romantic wedding night because of her not wanting to wait until the morning for her precious eyeliner....

I wouldn't change 1 single thing. It was beyond what I could have hoped for. Every penny spent was worth it.

Absolutely nothing. I never thought I'd say that, but looking back things turned out perfectly. If something went wrong, I did not know about it at all, and still don't to this day. Everyone had a wonderful time, as did my hubby and I. It's not worth wishing something would have been different though. Choose the things that you want to have there and love every second of it because it flies by.
