Newlyweds, what do you wish you could have changed at the wedding?

I only wish it had been sunny - it downpoured right before the wedding ceremony - fortunately the church was attached to the reception hall so once our guests arrived, we were good for the rest of the evening.

We spent a lot of money on the food and people raved - I definitely recommend going overboard on quality food and appetizers.

I would have remembered to pack extra deodorant! We danced so late into the night my maid of honor had to run to the drug store to get us all deo so we didnt stink!

I would have asked the priest what he was going to talk about during his homily. English is not his first language, so I don't know, maybe it was a culture thing or it didn't come out just right, but he started going on about "When your husband comes home drunk, you must forgive him!" And he kept going on about him coming home drunk! I was NOT impressed, and quite offended. If I had asked him beforehand, I could have avoided that embarrassment.

That my Dad had still been alive, he passed a few years before I met my hubby and I know he would have liked him....especially since both were/are american football/ baseball fiends lol.

i wish we would have started celebrating thursday and ended on sunday. we did have a weekend celebration on friday and saturday
