Choosing the right song or songs can be difficult. Most couples choose an upbeat song and use it as a lighthearted bit to liven up the reception.

Some nice recommendations out there.. would help a lot people to prepare their list of songs for the DJ. I would be very happy if some light music of Piano or Guitar is being played with some nice tunes rather than songs. Thanks

Ha this is a good one..so yeah I think it is a must to have songs that everyone can dance to. You know the songs that you hear and can't help but wanna dance.

So of course add in some of the occasional slow songs and keep it moving like that. Tell the DJ to mix it up with funk songs and song's from the '80s (Think Wedding Singer)

When I think of songs for a wedding, I always think of the songs towards the end of the night when everyone has their heels off or their tuxedos untucked. It's after all the old people have gone home, and they're just singing and dancing like no one is watching! The best songs are always ones that people can sing along to. Piano Man, Sweet Caroline, etc. Weddings are so fun!

You are right janejameson actually 80's songs are great.Another alternative is to check out all the Women and Songs dvd's -they have tons of love songs.
