Default Anybody good at contouring the the face?i have a wedding this sunday and suck @applying makeup!!!!!!?

well i am a bridesmaid for my cuz wedding and i get the whole foundation part!! but i heard about something called contouring the face...so i would like to contour my nose but do not know what products to use. Some say it is better to use a darker foundation, darker eyeshadow,or bronzer!! which one though? i was thinking a darker foundation b/c a bronzer is to shimmery and obvious! well 10 pts to any one who can really help me with this dilemma!

DO NOT contour. it looks fake and too made up. stay natural, you'll look SO much better, especially for a wedding. go for dewy, instead of dry and made-up.

Well rule of thumb, dark makes it appear smaller and lighter makes it appear bigger. If your nose is wide and you want to slim it put slightly darker base or concealer on sides and the lighter down the center and so on . Want to high light cheek bones, add light to top part on the actual cheek bone and slightly darker to where they indent. Contour lips, slightly lighter shade in just the center of both lips and for more definition place a dot ( remember to blend ) of white highlighter in the bow.Practice a lot before the wedding to get it right .Blend Blend Blend. You can experiment with all kinds to get a look you want. Play with it see what you like.

you can get a matte bronzer @ bodyshop if you want. Get a pro to do it for you or don't do it at all. If it's not done correctly you can look over the top.

Anyhow, if you still want to go ahead and try it you can try using a bronzer/brown eyeshadow (that's not too dark for your skin). Use a brush and draw a line from the beginning of your eyebrow down to your nose bridge. Use a clean brush and blend the line away from the middle of the nose, down to side of the nose. Go really light and practice2 until you're satisfied.

Another way to do it is to apply highlighter on the nose. Take your hiliter and go straight down on top of the nose. This is an option if your skin is not oily type.
