Default What is the most creative and unique wedding favor you can think of?

I am looking for something TRULY unique. Use your own creativity. I have been to a million website, so the "creative" make-your-own-candy-bag, personalized CD's, etc are no longer unique because they have been used alot.

To give an example of what I think thinking when I think "unique" are www.iloveflipbooks.com, also I saw someone who once made sunglass cases out of felt that matched their wedding colors. Really...I am looking for SUPER unique ideas. Think out of the box.

Any creative people out there?

At my husband and my wedding we had "horse shoes" because we had a western theme wedding. People thought it was a unique idea and we gave them away for good luck!

My wife and I made 400 CDs with 18 of our favorite songs complete with a photo CD jacket and label. We called the CD "Living in Sin No More".

It really depends on your budget, because typically, the more unique the favor, the pricier it is.

I've seen bottles of olive oil in magazines as wedding favors, which I think is awesome. I'm actually not really a fan of favors because most tend to be something the guests won't ever use again. But the bottles of olive oil were awesome because even if someone's not kitchen savvy, olive oil at least looks good, and really, you use it in almost every recipe. I can always use more.

The flipbook thing you posted, while I don't entirely get it, sounds really cool, and also really expensive.

In all honesty, my favorite favor to receive at a wedding is something to munch on on the way home. You can't go wrong with candy.

sorry the only thing i can tell you is that i don't need another wedding favour - i've a drawer full of them. please don't take offence but they are a huge waste of money and i would much rather see you buy something else for your new home than give us yet another thing emblazoned with your wedding date and names! when i want a reminder of a wedding i keep the invitation and put it in the photo album with a photo of the happy couple.
sorry sweetie i just think you can do much better with that money! donate it to a hot lunch program in your local school, or to the food bank, or to cancer or heart + stroke, or whatever charity makes you happy.
happy wedding!

We gave away olive oil bottles for our wedding. Everyone loved them and appreciated receiving something useful.

I went to a Christmas wedding and the favors were a Christmas ornament for the tree. I thought that was a cute idea. I also love when the favor is a baked treat; like for example: brownies, cookies.

Friends of our took a tall mason jar and creatively layered the dry ingredients to the grooms recently deceased grandmothers oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipie. They then printed and attached a card with the significance and the recipie with ribbon. It was fun and different and a neat way to recognize his grandmother.
