It really depends on your budget, because typically, the more unique the favor, the pricier it is.
I've seen bottles of olive oil in magazines as wedding favors, which I think is awesome. I'm actually not really a fan of favors because most tend to be something the guests won't ever use again. But the bottles of olive oil were awesome because even if someone's not kitchen savvy, olive oil at least looks good, and really, you use it in almost every recipe. I can always use more.
The flipbook thing you posted, while I don't entirely get it, sounds really cool, and also really expensive.
In all honesty, my favorite favor to receive at a wedding is something to munch on on the way home. You can't go wrong with candy.
