What wedding reception site in southeast Michigan allows outside catering for weddings?

I am getting married in October 2009 and am looking for a reception site that allows outside catering. My father owns a restaurant and has offered to cater our reception but I would like a location in southeastern Michigan. Please let me know if there is any worth looking at? Thank you!

As you can see at this site, there are a lot of reception venues in Michigan.

I suggest you call the local venues in which you are interested . . . and ask them if they allow outside catering. They will be happy to answer your questions.

Is father's restaurant not located in southeast Michigan? Cos if it is, I would give very serious consideration to accepting dad's offer . . . and having reception at the restaurant.

And of course, one can always try the Elks Lodge or VFW hall.

But please don't be afraid to call local reception venues and ask them your questions. Good luck.

Hi. Where EXACTLY (cities) are you looking at? Southeast Michigan is HUGE if you are also including Detroit and surrounding suburbs.
