After getting this suggestion from other posters, we are hiring two photography students to do our wedding for $250 plus gas and food. Just like you, we only have 30 guests and I really didn't want to put a ton of money into photography, but I did want a non-guest doing the photography. I contacted the local community college and the guy who teaches the class (I had him as an instructor 20 years ago!) knew several people to recommend. Both will be doing photography and helping each other with equipment. We will then sign releases for them to use some of our photos in their portfolio.
Anyway, this is an option for you. Way less cost, helps an aspiring photographer and you own the photos. BTW, make sure that at least one or two portrait photos are done with real film, not a digital camera. If all they do is digital camera, find someone else. As good as the digitals are today, and I love them, I've found that enlarged photos leave much to be desired.
